  • Matches are played in Ultimate Simulation with teams of three players.
  • Every participant must be a member of the IS Central Discord server.
  • The room’s fourth seat is filled by a tournament staff member playing the Ducklord strategy. Ducklord deploys no units for the duration of the match.
  • When the team leaves Ducklord on a selection screen, such as a Bounty Round or item selection, the staff member will attempt to pick the highest bounty available. If multiple options are tied, they will pick the leftmost, uppermost tied option. When it is not a bounty selection, the staff member lets the timer expire so the game randomly chooses one of the available options.
  • To avoid triggering the AFK penalty, the staff member will buy and immediately sell the leftmost unit at the beginning of every turn.
  • The tournament consists of two rounds. The first round determines the top four teams, who advance to the second round and compete for the top three places.
  • At least one player on each team must be able to stream their run on Discord when requested.
  • Players may protect a Core Alliance and an Add-on Alliance before their match begins, and may reset until neither protected alliance is banned.
  • Players may not quit the game for any reason. If a player disconnects and cannot reconnect, the team is immediately disqualified.

The winning team is the team that leaves Ducklord with the most HP at the end of the run.

A team that fails to beat Hidden Core, or never unlocks it, is scored as having 0 Ducklord HP regardless of the actual in-game value.

If two teams finish with the same Ducklord HP, the tie is broken in this order:

  1. If both teams beat Hidden Core, compare total team HP at the moment Hidden Core was defeated. The higher total wins.
  2. If neither team beat Hidden Core, compare HP remaining upon entering Hidden Core. The higher amount wins.
  3. If both teams died before the boss, the team that survived for more turns wins.
  4. If the tie remains, the team with fewer total alliance stacks wins.

Rewards will be distributed to the three highest-ranked teams.

  • 1st place: $15 per player.
  • 2nd and 3rd place: $10 per player.
